Those two really did NOT like each other.I bought this book (used, cheap) and my little paperback copy arrived tattered and worn , but I couldn't stop reading it. This is the first book that my son ever memorized cover to cover. But I can see the occasional child growing quite fond of the roll

Those two really did NOT like each other.I bought this book (used, cheap) and my little paperback copy arrived tattered and worn , but I couldn't stop reading it. This is the first book that my son ever memorized cover to cover. But I can see the occasional child growing quite fond of the rolly-polly little mammal. I appreciate the effort for the author for having this book, but I am quite disappointed. My daughter is a 5th grader, but works at least a grade level higher. I know many people will find theological fault with this Bible but I challenge those who do to actually pick one up and see what they think. And so far in the series, the stories are becoming better, more nuanced, and deeper. Take a Hike, Teddy Roosevelt, by Frank Murphy and illustrated by Richard Mark is wonderful! On the most basic level, it identifies an American president and makes his persona and character accessible to children by allowing them to identify with him first as a child and then later as the 26th president of the United State of America. The author freely injects his own opinions into the text, but it is usually very clear when he is doing so. “There’s a Divide Between Civilians and Soldiers. The Peanuts world is almost complete, with the main caste of characters set: Charlie Brown the neurotic, Linus the philosopher, Lucy the loudmouth, and Snoopy the well, Snoopy.
